Arles was my destination for studies in 2010. Thank god- together with my friend Dominique Jahn who is an amazing photographer. He basically introduced me to use of blind and shutter. The journey of taking pictures began…
From then on, I was a hunter for colour and composition. I enjoy freezing fleeting moments. Capture faces on film fascinates me. Different series emerged in various countries. For series or single prints, just contact me.
After first jobs and commitments in Berlin and in London, I moved to Brighton Beach to study photography. Finally, I put all my focus on my passion! I was diving into practice for an entire year, finishing with my M.A. in 2015. My first project was „One Gesture“ relating to films from the 1970s and, well, ambiguity of life.
WHERE TIME IS NOT.
For my final project at Brighton University, I was inspired by the famous novel, the Magic Mountain. In the footsteps of Thomas Mann I travelled to the Sanatorium in the Swiss alps and saw a place -where time is not.
During a trip to Mexico 2018, I was suddenly captured by the feeling of a space of timelessness again, I visited Chichen Itza. From then on, I worked on the idea of time, and depiction of it. I created the photo sculpture FROM ANOTHER POINT OF VIEW.
